Krishna’s technical expertise and functional knowledge enable him to be a liaison between IT, business, executive leadership, and serve as a strong technology partner. He is a hands-on executive with an ability to lead global multi-cultural teams, and is adept at developing strategic partnerships, both internally and externally. He exceeds all measurable parameters for quality, customer satisfaction, and ROI by visualizing the full strategic picture, while aligning IT initiatives with the corporate vision, mission, and goals.

Prior to WGroup, Krishna, as the Head of the PMO for Western Union, a $10B financial organization, transformed PMO, introduced efficient governance, service-delivery processes, program and portfolio management, merger-and-acquisition and IT integration. He executed IT-outsourcing agreements with multiple near shore companies delivering over 50% of technology savings to the organization. He implemented an Enterprise PMO with an accountability to improve project, portfolio, and process performance achieving over 95% of on-time and on-schedule project deliveries. The ePMO focused on managing the in-take demand, delivery of over 1K investments annually, and provided transparency to budgets, issues, and risks. He standardized the demand intake process, and developed trust with business partners by using transparent communication on the status of investment and next steps.

As Enterprise Program Director at Western Union, Krishna delivered multiple complex global initiatives spanning across 15 applications and led a team of over 160 global technical resources and 50 business team members. He led the re-engineering of a payments product and turned it into a $1M profitable product in its first year delivering a successful mobile payment solution. He also led the customer loyalty re-engineering programs generating over $5M in additional revenue from existing customers through repeat transactions. Through all of his initiatives, he partnered with senior leadership to align on scope, negotiate the budget constraints and obtain resolutions for the issues and resource commitments.

Throughout his career, Krishna’s strong drive for end-to-end business transformation and technology governance has resulted in exceptional business alignment, and innovative uses of technology. In previous roles, he has effectively managed large technology portfolios, headed financial planning, managed P&L, and executed complex programs. He has led product and innovation programs, provided architectural and engineering leadership, and delivered mobile and digital apps, cloud re-platform programs, application development, data analytics, and data warehouse programs.

Krishna has an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Madras, India. He has a Bachelor of Engineering from Kuvempu University, India.
