Ervin Kollek is an IT transformation leader with 30 years of experience in technology service management, consulting, governance, cloud services, legacy technologies, ITIL processes, IT assessments, security, and industry frameworks. In the realm of Operations and IT Services Management, his knowledge is unparalleled, having led international teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific across several IT disciplines. He is well-versed in designing, developing, implementing, and managing large-scale Enterprise Services projects at numerous multinational organizations, with a client portfolio that spans early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies including AT&T and IBM.

Ervin has a proven track record developing IT strategy and implementing Change Management through specialized methodologies, and is known for harnessing internal organizational knowledge that results in measurable financial and operational improvements, while fostering closer team collaboration. With decades of hands-on experience in IT operations and engineering management, Ervin excels as an ITSM leader in even the most challenging environments, and can not only identify improvement areas, but also execute complex Transformation programs to assist clients in hitting their tactical and strategic targets. His strategies leverage a deep analytical expertise, and solutions are prescriptive, customer-focused, and results-driven.

Prior to WGroup, Ervin held top consulting engagements and leadership roles at:

  • CSM Bakery Solutions, where he designed and implemented a company-wide Transformation program covering global sales, product & marketing, finance, IT, and HR functions. He was also responsible for multiple initiatives involving SAP Hybris systems and virtualized platforms.
  • McKesson Healthcare, where he performed an extensive Transformation assessment to identify potential technology, process, and compliance failures. He led POC, demand management, and IT crisis management process design for the cloud. In addition, he developed strategic vendor partnership programs and PaaS and VDI services.
  • Affinion and BM&F Bovespa (Brazilian Stock Exchange), where he performed organizational, technical, failure vulnerability, and ITIL Process assessments in all business areas, resulting in significant cost savings and improved IT performance. Simultaneously, he designed and implemented several additional ITIL processes.

Earlier in his career, Ervin was Vice President of Business Engineering at CGI; Senior Director of IT Governance at Equifax, where he developed and implemented a global ITSM process development and enablement program and established a U.S./U.K. Center of Excellence; CTO and SVP of Siemens, leading a 700-plus person Entex IT Services division with more than $100 million in annual revenue; and CTO of RapidLink Telecommunications, implementing one of the world’s first commercial VoIP services during the deregulation of Germany’s telecom market.

Among other technology and sales training certifications, Ervin is a HISP Security Practitioner (ISO27001 Cobit 4.1 Auditor), an ITIL Foundation Instructor, trained in PMBOK, certified in Risk Management ISO27001 and as a Gartner TCO. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics, a master’s in IT Engineering, and an MBA in Business, all from the University of London.
