As WGroup’s Chief Marketing Officer, Domenic Colasante drives advancements in WGroup’s service portfolio as the technology industry undergoes rapid disruption and evolution. In addition to leading the firm’s marketing, communications, and research functions, Domenic regularly consults with business, IT, and sourcing leaders, and is a subject matter expert in service delivery transformation, sourcing, automation, advanced vendor management methodologies, and evolving the dynamic between the business and IT for greater speed to market and value creation.

On behalf of WGroup, Domenic leads a virtual team of in-house and off-shore resources focused on researching and understanding the latest IT trends, emerging capabilities, service provider offerings, and innovative technologies. Domenic aligns WGroup’s capabilities and services to market demands and serves as the architect of the firm’s new consulting offerings. Domenic is a known thought leader in the IT space, and regularly speaks at conferences on various technology and business topics. He is also the lead chair for the IAOP Philadelphia Chapter, a community for sourcing, vendor management and IT transformation professionals.

Throughout his career, Domenic brings an innovative edge to solutioning strategic initiatives for CIOs, CTOs, IT leaders, sourcing professionals, and other tech-savvy business executives. His background at technology leaders including SAP and Siemens provides him with a balanced perspective for how advanced software, hardware, and service offerings can enable well-run IT that drives a business strategy forward. Driven by significant and measurable results, Domenic champions strategies to help clients drive their businesses forward by optimizing business performance, creating value and achieving cost savings - quickly.

Domenic serves the dual role of advisor and marketing leader at WGroup. As a technology-driven marketer, Domenic has significant experience in marketing automation technologies, digital marketing approaches, brand development, and demand creation strategies. During his tenure at WGroup, the firm has grown at a CAGR of 32% while creating new business units and opening international delivery centers.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Management and Marketing from Widener University and a Masters in Strategic Management and International Business from Villanova University. Domenic also serves on the Business Analytics Advisory Board at Widener University, a group focused on advancing the curriculum of the university’s Business Analytics program to ensure future graduates are ready to add immediate value in the dynamic business environment.
