Director of MarketingBeth Thomas is a strategic results-driven marketing professional with 10 years of broad experience in the IT industry. She has expertise in developing and executing marketing campaigns to further increase organizations’ brand exposure and customer base. As the Director of Marketing at WGroup, her experience and passion for demand generation align well with the WGroup’s growth trajectory.
Prior to WGroup, Beth was the Head of Marketing in North America at Quintiq, a logistics and supply chain planning vendor, where she was responsible for all aspects of marketing with a strong focus on field marketing, inside sales empowerment, brand awareness, social media marketing, PR, content marketing and events.
Prior to Quintiq, Beth was a Marketing and Sales Operations Manager for SmartOps, a supply chain software vendor. There, she developed the annual go-to-market strategy that included a multi-touch campaign approach, partner enablement and clear follow-up plans that resulted in exceeding revenue targets year-after-year. Once SmartOps was acquired by SAP, she continued to work within the SAP landscape to promote SmartOps’ sales and marketing initiatives, while also heading post-merger integration efforts including a CRM data migration project.
Beth’s career began in the non-profit space as a Development Director for a social service agency. In her first year, she tripled the number of quality homes for children in the Foster Care and Adoption recruitment program through advertising, public speaking and referrals.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh.
